Shipping Policy

At The Herd Biltong, we strive to provide the best possible service to our customers. That’s why we’ve put together the following shipping policy to ensure that your orders arrive fresh and on time.

Processing Time:

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after the order is placed (generally within 2). This may take longer during peak seasons.

Shipping Options:

We offer standard shipping and options for our customers. We use a partner (Sendle) for metro and regional deliveries and another partner (Auspost) for rural deliveries. Standard shipping usually takes 2-5 business days for metro and some regional while some regional and rural deliveries take 2-8 business days. Shipping rates will be calculated either on a flat rate basis or vary depending on order size, carrier and location of the receiver.

Shipping Restrictions:

We currently only ship within Australia. We can ship to P.O. boxes or Parcel Locker addresses. We cannot be responsible for any delays caused by weather, shipping carrier issues or any other unforeseen circumstances.

Packaging:

We take great care to ensure that your biltong arrives in the best possible condition. We use air-tight packaging to preserve the freshness of your biltong and protect it during shipping. Please note that biltong is a perishable product and it is recommended to follow the care instructions provided once received. If your order has been punctured or is not air tight, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us and we will send a replacement.

Tracking:

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to track your package. We are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers.
