Original Biltong
The Granddaddy. A blend of salt, finely ground black pepper and toasted coriander seeds.
Our Original flavour comes from a recipe based on heritage, the same ingredients utilised in the same traditional way but we’ve modernized ancient techniques and are able to produce a very, very good product.
There is no sweetness and no heat with the original flavour biltong (unless you find pepper spicy). Just soft, melt in the mouth morsels of meaty goodness. We use high quality Australian silversides sliced against the grain for tenderness.
*Please note – 500g and 1kg orders will be sent as 2x 250g and 4x 250g bags respectively.

Very oily and due to vacuum packaging the pieces were condensed into a single mass and is proving difficult to separate even when decanted into a paper bag

The Biltong is reasonable in quality. No huge fatty chunks, with a good wetness level. I appreciated it was vacuum sealed in small quantities and came with paper bags, however, the taste wasn’t entirely to my liking. Not enough coriander, and a noticeable Worcestershire Sauce flavour. Not unpleasant, but as this is a premium price to pay for biltong I was expecting more, I guess. You can’t please everyone though, so this may well be just my personal taste preferences.

taste is really really good, but packaging isnt. you need resealable bags – literally every other jerky and biltong manufacturer does this. it was a real piss off to be honest, the brown paper bags just dont cut it.

The meat is sealed in a vacuum bag and incredibly oily, it does NOT have the appearance displayed the pictures. I suspect that the meat is gone bad. In 2 weeks no one replied to my emails, I guess I’ll throw it away.
